How to implement AI in a company: from audit to first result

Companies often start AI implementation by asking which tool to buy. That is the wrong first question. The tool comes later. First you need to find which process costs too much time and can be improved safely.

Start with processes

List repetitive work across sales, support, finance, HR and operations. For each process, write who owns it, how often it happens, how long it takes and what happens when it goes wrong.

Choose a focused pilot

The first project should be small enough to launch quickly and important enough to create visible value. A good pilot has clear inputs, clear outputs and a person who can judge quality.

Prepare data and rules

AI needs source material. A chatbot needs product information and support knowledge. Invoice automation needs sample documents and accounting rules. CRM automation needs enquiry history and qualification criteria.

Measure from day one

Measure time saved, cases handled, errors avoided and response speed. Without measurement, an AI project becomes a demo rather than a business improvement.
